Cavo in fibra ottica DeLOCK 85085 3 m LC giallo

This fibre optical cable by Delock is a 3 m LC to LC patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission. The cable uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and comes in yellow for easy identification and cable management. Both conductors share one outer sheath and one boot, reducing space requirements and simplifying routing in racks and panels.

Advantages

The DELOCK 85085 offers single-mode OS2 performance suited for long-distance links, a compact dual-conductor design that saves space, and standard LC connectors for wide compatibility with networking equipment such as SFP modules, switches and media converters.

Suitable for

• Connecting NICs with SFP modules to switches
• Patch connections in data centre racks
• Links between switches and media converters
• Structured cabling where yellow colour coding is required

How to use

Insert the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors are clean and aligned. The extractor lever on the cable facilitates removal from high-density panels: press the lever and pull the connector straight out. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with cable management accessories as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep LC connector end faces free of dust and contaminants by using dust caps when not in use and clean with appropriate fibre optic cleaning tools before connecting. Avoid bending below the minimum bend radius and install in compliance with structured cabling practices.
