Cavo in fibra ottica duplex InLine MTRJ/SC 50/125µm OM2 3 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable MTRJ/SC 50/125µm OM2 3m is a duplex multimode fiber cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission between network devices. It features a 50 µm core diameter and complies with OM2 multimode standards, providing consistent signal quality over short to medium distances. The 3 m length offers a balance between routing flexibility and minimal signal loss for typical LAN and data centre connections.

Advantages

This fiber optical duplex cable uses MTRJ and SC connectors to provide secure and stable connections with low insertion loss and good return loss performance. The OM2 50/125µm multimode fiber supports standard multimode transceivers and networking equipment, enabling straightforward integration into existing infrastructure. The 3-meter cable length simplifies installation in racks, patch panels and between adjacent network devices while maintaining predictable optical performance.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance multimode network links
• LAN backbones and data centre patching
• Connections between switches, servers and patch panels
• Environments using OM2 50/125µm multimode transceivers

How to use

Inspect connectors for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary using appropriate fiber-optic cleaning tools. Plug the MTRJ and SC connectors into the corresponding ports on your devices or patch panels, ensuring correct alignment and gentle insertion to avoid damaging the ferrules. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius. Verify link integrity and optical power levels with compatible test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Use this OM2 50/125µm duplex cable for short- to medium-range multimode applications where MTRJ and SC interfaces are required. Keep connectors capped when not in use and store the cable coiled without tight bends to preserve optical performance.
