Cavo in fibra ottica duplex LC/SC 9/125µm OS2 15m InLine 88656A

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 9/125µm OS2 15m is a single-mode duplex patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It features a 9 µm core diameter and OS2 grading to support low-loss signal propagation over long distances. Fitted with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, this cable enables full-duplex communication between devices with different connector types while maintaining consistent optical performance.

Advantages

This duplex cable provides stable single-mode transmission with reduced attenuation thanks to its 9/125 µm geometry and OS2 specification. The LC and SC connectors offer a combination of compact performance and widespread compatibility, allowing direct connections between equipment that use different interface types. The 15 m length affords flexibility in rack-to-rack or room-to-room installations while preserving signal integrity for networking, telecom and data centre links.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network devices in data centres and server rooms
• Linking telecom equipment and optical transceivers
• Patch panel to switch or router connections where LC to SC conversion is required
• Longer distance single-mode fibre links within buildings and between equipment racks

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode, OS2
• Core / cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: SC (duplex)
• Length: 15 m
• Mode: single-mode, duplex
• Typical application: patching, device interconnects, transceiver connections

How to use

Inspect connector end faces for cleanliness before installation and, if necessary, clean using appropriate fibre optic cleaning tools. Plug the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port of the respective devices, ensuring a secure connection without bending the cable sharply. Route the cable along cable management paths or trays to prevent stress and maintain minimum bend radius. When terminating connections, verify link status and signal levels with optical test equipment as required.
