Cavo in fibra ottica duplex SC/SC InLine 83510O 10m OM3 50/125µm

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 83510O 10m OM3 50/125µm is a 10-metre multimode duplex patch cable designed for full-duplex optical connections. Its 50/125µm core/cladding structure and OM3 specification support high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances, making it suitable for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and office LAN environments. The cable uses SC connectors on both ends in a duplex configuration for easy insertion into compatible transceivers and patch panels.

Advantages

This fiber optic duplex cable provides stable and low-loss signal transmission thanks to its OM3-grade multimode fiber construction. The SC/SC connectors ensure a secure and standardized connection with common network equipment. A 10 metre length balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links, while the duplex format supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full-duplex communication.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and storage within data centers
• Patch panel to transceiver connections in structured cabling
• High-speed LAN links and short-range multimode fiber runs
• Office network backbones and equipment racks

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Length: 10 metres
• Mode: Duplex (separate transmit and receive fibers)
• Typical applications: 10 Gbps and lower multimode links over recommended distances

How to use

Route the duplex fiber cable between the two endpoints avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; follow the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fiber. Align and insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC port until it clicks into place. Ensure transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) channels are correctly paired at both ends to establish full-duplex communication. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before installation to minimize insertion loss.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the cable within recommended bend radius limits, store and handle connectors with dust protection, and verify link quality with an optical power meter or certified testing equipment after installation. Use this OM3 50/125µm duplex cable for multimode links up to the distances supported by OM3 at your required data rate.
