Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0312.30 30 m LC turchese

The EFB Elektronik O0312.30 is a 30 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, this turquoise-coloured cable supports high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber links. Its length and connector type make it suitable for inter-rack and intra-rack connections in data centers, server rooms and other structured cabling environments where reliable multimode performance is required.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable offers predictable multimode performance for short- to medium-reach links, supporting high bandwidth applications with low attenuation. The dual LC connectors enable compact duplex connections with standard LC ports on transceivers and patch panels. The turquoise jacket provides clear visual identification of OM3 multimode fibers and helps with cable management. Constructed for consistent optical performance, the cable reduces the need for frequent replacements and maintains stable signal quality under normal operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and patching
• Server room rack and panel connections
• High-performance computing cluster links
• Multimode fiber networks using LC duplex ports
• Short- to medium-distance backbone and horizontal cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: OM3 multimode fibre
• Length: 30 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Mode: Multimode, full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Route the fibre cable between LC ports on compatible transceivers, patch panels or switches, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Use gentle bends and avoid sharp angles; maintain the manufacturer‑recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent signal loss. Secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories to avoid tension on the connectors and to preserve optical performance. When disconnecting, hold the connector body and pull straight out to avoid stressing the fiber.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC connectors with suitable fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Use labelled cable management to separate multimode fibres from singlemode where present, and avoid tight bundling with power cables. For critical links, test the end-to-end optical link with appropriate test equipment after installation to verify insertion loss and continuity.
