Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0319.3-1.2 3 m 2x LC viola

The EFB Elektronik O0319.3-1.2 3 m 2x LC Violet is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for short- to medium-reach high-speed network links. With a 50 µm core diameter and duplex LC terminations on both ends, this 3 metre violet cable supports reliable full-duplex data transmission with low insertion loss and consistent signal integrity. It is suitable for structured cabling in data centres, server rooms and professional network installations where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable delivers higher bandwidth and lower attenuation over short to medium distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The duplex LC connectors provide compact, easy-to-install terminations that fit standard LC ports on network equipment. The 3 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections while the violet jacket aids visual identification in dense cabling environments. The cable construction supports stable full-duplex links and reduces the need for frequent signal rework.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, transceivers and servers
• High-speed LAN backbones and aggregation links
• Short- to medium-reach multimode fibre connections in enterprise networks
• Equipment interconnects where OM4 performance is specified

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Violet
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Typical application: Short- to medium-reach high-speed links

How to use

Route the cable between LC ports on networking equipment, ensuring connectors are clean before mating. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding port until it clicks, observing the correct transmit/receive orientation for full-duplex operation. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius during installation. Secure the cable with appropriate management clips or Velcro ties to prevent stress on the terminations and to maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Use the violet jacket colour to label or group OM4 links, and avoid routing the cable near sources of mechanical strain or excessive heat. For reliable high-speed transmission, pair the cable with compatible OM4-capable transceivers and maintain proper cable management to minimize attenuation and insertion loss.
