Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O8321S10OS2 8x SC OS2 10 m nero blu giallo

The EFB Elektronik O8321S10OS2 is a pre-assembled fibre optic trunk cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It comes in a stocked standard length of 10 m and features eight SC–terminated fibres compliant with OS2 singlemode specifications. The cable construction (U-DQ(ZN) BH) provides mechanical protection and flexibility for installation in cable ducts and shafts, and the product is available in black, blue and yellow colour options.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers factory-assembled SC connectors for consistent connector quality and reduced installation time. Compliance with OS2 ensures low-loss singlemode transmission over long distances, while the U-DQ(ZN) BH cable type delivers robustness and suitable flexibility for duct and shaft routing. The stocked standard length (10 m) and multiple colour options simplify identification and deployment in structured network environments.

Suitable for

• Trunk and backbone links in buildings and data centres
• InfiniBand and other high-speed singlemode applications
• Routing through cable ducts and shafts
• Structured cabling where pre-assembled SC terminations are preferred

How to use

Install the pre-assembled cable by routing it through the intended duct or shaft and secure it according to site cabling standards. Terminate or connect the SC connectors to matching SC adapters or ports, ensuring clean connector end-faces before mating to minimize loss. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable; follow standard bend-radius guidelines for U-DQ(ZN) BH cables. Label each end if required for identification.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cleaning tools for SC connectors and verify optical continuity and insertion loss after installation. Select the cable colour that best fits your site-identification scheme and store surplus length without tight coils to prevent microbending.
