Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics AJ836A-BO 5 m 2x LC aqua

The BlueOptics AJ836A-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 5 m duplex link designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network and server environments. Equipped with two LC connectors in aqua housings and OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter, this cable supports full duplex InfiniBand connections and is suited for short-range, high-bandwidth interconnects between switches, storage systems and compute nodes.

Advantages

This 5 m OM3 cable delivers low-attenuation multimode performance and stable signal integrity for InfiniBand networking. The LC connector interface enables compact duplex connections in high-density panels and modules. The aqua colour coding corresponds to OM3 specifications, facilitating quick identification during installation and maintenance. Its robust connector termination and multimode design provide reliable high-throughput links for server racks and data centre equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting InfiniBand switches and host channel adapters (HCA) over short distances
• Interlinking storage arrays and compute nodes in rack environments
• High-bandwidth, low-latency links in data centres and server rooms
• Patch panel connections in structured cabling systems using LC ports

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: 2x LC duplex (aqua)
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode fibre
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed links and multimode networks

How to use

Route the BlueOptics OM3 cable between LC ports on your InfiniBand devices, ensuring the connectors align securely with the mating adapters or transceiver modules. Maintain gentle bends and avoid kinking; adhere to minimum bend radius guidelines for multimode fibre to preserve signal quality. Secure the cable along the rack or cabinet using appropriate ties or organizers to avoid strain on connectors and to keep airflow unobstructed.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect LC connectors for dust and clean with approved fibre cleaning tools. Use this OM3 cable for distances and data rates supported by your InfiniBand equipment; when deploying in high-density or critical environments, label both ends and test continuity and link performance after installation.
