Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP2121BU2MM 2 m LC giallo

BlueOptics SFP2121BU2MM is a 2 m LC‑to‑LC single‑mode (SM) fibre optic patch cord in yellow, built on G.657.A1 (E9/125 µm) fibre. It is designed for reliable transmission at 1310 nm and 1550 nm and is suitable for connecting patch panels, optical transceivers or other network equipment in data centres and networking environments. The cable features a flame‑retardant LSZH jacket and is intended for InfiniBand and other high‑speed applications.

Advantages

The SFP2121BU2MM offers low attenuation (0.4 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules with branded fibre from manufacturers such as Corning, Fujikura or YOFC and qualified connector housings from established vendors, giving a rated life of up to 1500 mating cycles. Each unit is tested with interferometer and OTDR and shipped with a measurement report of insertion loss and return loss values, meeting Telcordia GR‑326‑Core requirements.

How to use

Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before connecting. Remove protective caps, align LC connectors with the equipment ports and insert until a secure click is felt. For optimum optical performance use appropriate LC/APC ports to match the APC polish. After installation, verify link integrity using suitable test equipment and keep the supplied measurement report for reference.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable without sharp bends; respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre. Use LC‑APC ports when available for improved return loss and maintain connector endfaces clean using approved fibre cleaning tools.
