Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3131BU2MM 2 m LC giallo

BlueOptics SFP3131BU2MM is a 2 meter single-mode duplex fiber optic patch cord with LC/APC to LC/APC connectors (8° angled polish) and laser-optimized G.657.A1 fiber (E9/125 µm). The cable is yellow and designed for reliable transmission of 1310 nm and 1550 nm signals, suitable for connecting patch panels, optical transceivers and other fiber network components in data centers and networking environments.

Advantages

The patch cord uses laser-optimized single-mode fiber with low attenuation (0.4 dB/km), high return loss and low insertion loss. Connectors employ zirconia ceramic ferrules from reputable manufacturers and are rated for up to 1500 mating cycles. The cable features a flame-retardant LSZH jacket that minimizes smoke and releases no halogens in case of fire. Each unit is factory-tested (interferometer and OTDR) and shipped with measured insertion loss and return loss values; it conforms to Telcordia GR-326-Core requirements.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for contamination before installation and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Align the LC/APC connectors with the corresponding LC/APC ports on transceivers or patch panels and insert until a secure latch is felt. Route the cable without sharp bends, respecting the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fiber. For custom-length installations, request factory-cut cords or perform splicing only in a controlled fiber work area.

Recommendations

Use this LC/APC-LC/APC G.657.A1 duplex patch cord for single-mode, duplex optical links where low loss and low back-reflection are required. Keep connectors capped when not in use, avoid tight bends, and maintain records of the supplied test report for troubleshooting and asset management.
