Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3133EU0.5MK 0,5 m 2x LC 2x ST

The BlueOptics SFP3133EU0.5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 0.5 m duplex assembly designed for short-reach, high-speed networking. It combines two LC connectors on one end and two ST connectors on the other, using OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter. The cable supports full duplex transmission and is suitable for linking InfiniBand equipment, switches, and adapters where low latency and reliable optical performance are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers a compact 0.5 m length that reduces excess cabling in dense rack environments while maintaining signal integrity. The use of OM3 multimode fibre provides improved bandwidth and modal performance compared with lower-grade multimode types, supporting higher data rates over short distances. Having LC connectors on one end and ST connectors on the other enables direct connections between devices with differing port types without additional adapters.

How to use

Select the BlueOptics InfiniBand cable when you need a short, direct optical link between devices with LC and ST ports. Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before insertion to maintain optimal optical performance. Insert the LC connectors into LC ports and the ST connectors into ST ports until they engage securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress that could affect attenuation or connector alignment.

Recommendations

For stable performance, perform visual and end-face cleaning of connectors prior to installation, avoid tight radius bends below the manufacturer's minimum bend radius, and verify link status using network diagnostics after connection. Use this cable for in-rack patching and short interconnects where OM3 multimode characteristics meet your bandwidth and distance requirements.
