Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3232EU0.5MK 0,5 m 2x SC acqua

The BlueOptics SFP3232EU0.5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 0.5 m duplex patch cable with two SC Aqua connectors designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth connections. Made with OM3 multimode fibre (50 µm core), this cable supports full-duplex InfiniBand links and is suited for use in dense networking environments where reliable, low-loss signal transmission is required.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable provides consistent signal integrity over short distances and supports high data rates commonly used in InfiniBand networks. The SC Aqua connectors offer standardized, colour-coded termination for easy identification and installation. Its compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cabling and helps maintain tidy cable management in racks and patch panels.

How to use

Route the cable between the two InfiniBand ports, ensuring connectors align with SC adapters or transceiver ports. Insert each SC connector until it clicks into the adapter or port, then verify link status on connected devices. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable using cable ties or management trays to prevent strain on the fibre. Keep connector endfaces clean and capped when not in use to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM3 cable for links within the specified short-reach range and pair with compatible InfiniBand transceivers and SC adapters. Clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation and avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius to preserve signal quality.
