Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3232FU3MK 3 m SC OM4

BlueOptics SFP3232FU3MK is a 3 meter duplex fiber optic patch cord with SC/UPC to SC/UPC connectors and laser-optimized multi-mode OM4 fiber (50/125 µm) in magenta. Designed for InfiniBand and high-speed networking, this OM4 SC-SC cable supports 850 nm transmission and connects patch panel ports, optical transceivers or other compatible equipment. The cable features a flame-retardant LSZH jacket and is available in multiple lengths; custom lengths can be ordered on request.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP3232FU3MK provides low attenuation (2.5 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss, with the option to optimize return loss by selecting connector polish (UPC or 8° APC). Manufactured using branded OM4 fiber from reputable suppliers and high-quality SC connectors with zirconia ferrules, the cable is built for reliable, long-lasting connections and up to 1500 mating cycles. Each unit is tested with interferometer and OTDR and shipped with a measured insertion loss and return loss protocol.

How to use

Inspect connectors and fiber ends for contamination before installation and clean if necessary. Plug the SC connectors into corresponding SC ports on patch panels or transceivers until they click into place, ensuring correct duplex orientation. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and strain; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius. For testing and documentation, use the supplied insertion loss and return loss measurements and, if required, verify link performance with an OTDR or appropriate test equipment.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 SC-SC duplex cable for short- to medium-distance multi-mode links in data centers and network racks where low attenuation, high return loss and LSZH jacketing are required. Order custom lengths when standard sizes do not meet routing constraints.
