Cavo in fibra ottica LANBERG FO-LULU-MD41-0150-VT 15 m OM4 LC/UPC - LC/UPC full duplex

LANBERG FO-LULU-MD41-0150-VT is a 15 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC/UPC connectors on both ends designed for full-duplex data transmission. The cable incorporates 50 µm multimode cores optimized for high-speed short- to medium-range links. It is intended for use where compact LC connectors and OM4 modal bandwidth are required, such as data centres, storage area networks and high-performance computing interconnects.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre offers increased modal bandwidth for higher data rates over short and medium distances compared with lower-grade multimode types. LC/UPC connectors provide a compact footprint for high-density patch panels and modules while ensuring low insertion loss when properly installed and maintained. The full-duplex duplex LC–LC configuration simplifies link design for bi-directional communications without additional duplexing hardware.

Suitable for

• Data centre patch panels and switch-to-switch links
• Storage area network (SAN) interconnects
• InfiniBand and other high-performance computing links
• Server-to-top-of-rack and equipment interconnections
• Fiber channel and Ethernet multimode connections over short/medium distances

Key specifications

• Cable type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Core diameter: 50 µm multimode
• Connector type: LC/UPC on both ends (duplex LC–LC)
• Length: 15 m
• Transmission: full-duplex
• Typical use: short- to medium-range high-speed interconnects

How to use

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Clean LC/UPC endfaces before insertion using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to reduce insertion loss and reflectance. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding adapter or port until the latch clicks; ensure duplex orientation is correct for transmit/receive pairs. Label or document both ends if used in larger patching infrastructures to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment; avoid kinking and extended tensile loading. Periodically inspect and clean connector endfaces when moving or reusing the cable. Use OM4 multimode patch cords for runs and applications that match the modal bandwidth and distance characteristics required by your equipment to achieve intended data rates.
