Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P1EOJO05E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 0,5 m giallo

The METZ CONNECT 151P1EOJO05E SC LC I-V(ZN) H fibre optic cable is a 0.5 m patch cord in yellow, designed for short-distance, high-performance optical connections. It features an SC connector on one end and an LC connector on the other, uses G.657.A2 fibre with a 9 µm core and supports full duplex data transmission. The I-V(ZN) H cable construction provides mechanical flexibility and robustness suitable for indoor installations and structured cabling.

Advantages

This METZ CONNECT cable offers compatibility between SC and LC ports, low bending sensitivity due to G.657.A2 fibre, and a compact 0.5 m length that minimises excess slack in racks and patch panels. The I-V(ZN) H construction contributes to durability and ease of handling while the yellow jacket provides visual identification for single-mode applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting single-mode network equipment in data centres and telecom racks
• Patching between SC and LC ports in distribution panels and patch panels
• Short horizontal or vertical runs inside server cabinets and networking enclosures
• Residential or commercial single-mode fibre terminations requiring low-bend cable

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H
• Fibre standard: G.657.A2 (low bending sensitivity)
• Core diameter: 9 µm (single-mode)
• Connector 1: SC (single-mode)
• Connector 2: LC (single-mode)
• Colour: Yellow
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Route the cable through the intended pathway avoiding sharp bends and mechanical strain. Plug the SC connector into the SC port and the LC connector into the LC port until each connector clicks into place. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to prevent signal loss; use protective dust caps when the cable is not connected. For patching inside cabinets, use the 0.5 m length to reduce cable clutter and maintain tidy cable management.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean fibre connectors with appropriate cleaning tools before installation. Maintain bend radii above the minimum recommended for G.657.A2 fibre to preserve signal integrity. Use cable management accessories to secure the cable and avoid repeated flexing at connector ends.
