Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P1JOAO30E LC 2x ST I-V(ZN) H 3 m giallo

The METZ CONNECT 151P1JOAO30E LC 2x ST I-V(ZN) H 3 m Yellow is a 3-metre single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable optical connections in network installations. It combines an LC connector on one end with two ST connectors on the other to support full duplex links and flexible device connection. The cable uses G.657.A2 fibre characteristics and a 9 µm core diameter, suitable for low-bend-loss routing and standard optical transmission in indoor environments. The bright yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in cable runs.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low insertion loss and consistent optical performance due to its G.657.A2 single-mode fibre construction and precise factory-terminated connectors. The mixed-connector configuration (LC to dual ST) allows connection between equipment with different port types without additional adapters. Its 3 m length is practical for patching between racks, panels, and nearby devices, while the yellow jacket aids rapid identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between network panels, switches and transceivers
• Interfacing devices with LC ports to devices with ST ports
• Indoor structured cabling and rack patching in comms rooms
• Short-distance full duplex optical links and laboratory setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H
• Fibre standard: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: 2× ST
• Functionality: full duplex optical link
• Jacket colour: yellow

How to use

Connect the LC end to the LC port on the source device or patch panel and plug the two ST connectors into the corresponding ST ports on the destination equipment, ensuring correct transmit/receive orientation for full duplex operation. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable along existing cable management paths to maintain minimum bend radius recommended for G.657.A2 fibres. Inspect connector endfaces for contamination and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections to reduce insertion loss.

Recommendations

Use the cable for indoor fixed installations and patching; route it through cable trays or vertical managers and avoid tight bends or mechanical stress. When handling the cable, observe standard optical safety and cleaning procedures and verify link performance after installation with an optical loss test if required.
