Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P1JOAO50E LC 2x ST I-V(ZN) H 5 m giallo

The METZ CONNECT 151P1JOAO50E LC 2x ST I-V(ZN) H 5 m Yellow is a 5 m multimode fibre optic patch cable that combines an LC connector on one end with two ST connectors on the other. Built with G.657.A2 fibre type and an I-V(ZN) H jacket construction, the cable provides a slim 9 µm core diameter suitable for high-speed, full duplex optical transmission in indoor network environments. The yellow outer sheath makes the cable easily identifiable in structured cabling installations and patch cabinets.

Advantages

This fibre patch cable offers low-loss optical performance consistent with G.657.A2 bend-insensitive fibre characteristics, enabling stable signal transmission in confined routing spaces. The mixed-connector configuration (LC to 2x ST) supports flexible connectivity between equipment with different port types without additional adapters. The 5 m length provides sufficient reach for typical rack-to-rack or equipment-to-switch connections while maintaining easy cable management due to its compact construction and bright colour.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, transceivers or network devices with LC and ST ports in data centres and telecom rooms
• Patch panel to active equipment links in structured cabling systems
• Short to medium indoor runs where bend-insensitive G.657.A2 fibre is required
• Environments where colour-coded cabling improves identification and maintenance

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H jacket construction
• Fibre type: G.657.A2 (bend-insensitive)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: LC (single) to 2× ST
• Transmission mode: full duplex optical
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the METZ CONNECT cable along the planned pathway avoiding tight bends beyond the fibre's bend radius. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle and the two ST connectors into their respective ST ports, ensuring each connector is aligned and fully seated. Use cable management accessories such as ties and trays to secure the cable and prevent strain on the connectors. Prior to installation, inspect connector endfaces and clean if necessary to maintain optimal optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid repeated flexing near connector ends and maintain bend radii consistent with G.657.A2 fibre recommendations. Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and use proper connector dust caps during transport or when ports are unused.
