Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P3JOJO20E LC I-V(ZN) H 2 m giallo

The METZ CONNECT 151P3JOJO20E LC I-V(ZN) H is a 2 m fibre optic cable designed for reliable, low-loss data transmission in structured cabling and network environments. The cable uses G.657.A2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and features LC connectors on both ends for easy plug-and-play connection. Its yellow jacket provides clear visual identification for single-mode links and helps organise fibre runs in patch panels and rack installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides consistent single-mode performance with low bend sensitivity thanks to G.657.A2 technology, supporting full-duplex transmission over the link. The LC–LC connector configuration allows compact mating in high-density panels. The 2 m length is suitable for short patching between equipment and patch panels while the yellow outer jacket ensures quick identification of single-mode lines in mixed-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Patching between patch panels and network switches in data centers
• Connecting optical transceivers to equipment in telecom racks
• Short-distance fibre links in central offices and server rooms
• Environments requiring low-bend-sensitivity single-mode cabling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Colour: Yellow
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Route the cable along protected pathways and avoid sharp bends that exceed the minimum bend radius specified for G.657.A2 fibres. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports on transceivers, patch panels, or switches until they click into place. Verify connection continuity and signal quality using appropriate optical test equipment after installation. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight to avoid damaging the fibre endface.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the boot or flanges and keep protective caps on until connection to prevent contamination. Clean connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools before mating and perform light-level or OTDR checks if link performance is critical.
