Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P3JOJO30E LC I-V(ZN) H 3 m giallo

The METZ CONNECT 151P3JOJO30E LC I-V(ZN) H 3 m Yellow is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable point-to-point data transmission in structured cabling and active equipment interconnects. Using G.657.A2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends, this 3-meter cable supports full-duplex links and is suitable for dense rack and patch-panel environments where a compact LC footprint and visible cable identification are required.

Advantages

This cable provides low attenuation and improved bend performance typical of G.657.A2 fibre, enabling stable signal transmission in installations with tight routing. The LC-to-LC termination offers a small-form-factor connector for high-density panels and transceivers. The yellow sheath improves visibility for cable management and identification in mixed-fibre deployments. The 3 m length balances reach and neatness for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch connections.

Suitable for

• Short interconnects between switches, patch panels and optical transceivers
• Data centre patching and high-density rack installations
• FTTx premises cabling and subscriber-side connections
• Environments requiring improved bend radius performance in constrained pathways

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode G.657.A2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Cable jacket colour: yellow
• Cable category/type: I-V(ZN) H

How to use

Route the cable between LC-compatible ports, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to maintain low loss. Align each LC connector with its mating adapter or transceiver port and push until it clicks. For duplex operation, maintain correct polarity between transmit and receive channels. Avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s recommended radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools prior to installation. Use cable management and strain-relief accessories to preserve connector integrity. For installations with tight bend requirements, position the cable to minimize microbending and follow local cabling standards for labelling and routing.
