Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJAA5E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 15 m bianco

The METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJAA5E 15 m fibre optic cable with SC to LC connectors uses G.657.A2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter. The I-V(ZN) H cable construction balances flexibility and mechanical protection for indoor installation paths, and the white jacket supports discreet routing in office or data centre environments. This cable is designed for reliable single-mode optical links where low loss and bend-insensitivity are required.

Advantages

The cable incorporates G.657.A2 fibre technology to provide improved bend performance compared with standard single-mode fibres while maintaining low attenuation and stable optical characteristics. With a 15 m length and SC to LC terminated connectors, the assembly simplifies connection between equipment with SC and LC ports. The I-V(ZN) H jacket offers a combination of flexibility and mechanical robustness suitable for routing in trays and conduits. The white jacket facilitates tidy installations and easy visual identification.

Suitable for

• Single-mode optical links in LAN and campus networks
• Connecting equipment with SC and LC fibre ports
• Indoor structured cabling and patching in data centres
• Environments where bend-insensitive fibre routing is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: SC to LC
• Cable type/jacket: I-V(ZN) H
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the cable along the planned path avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; although G.657.A2 fibre is bend-insensitive, maintain recommended bend radii during installation to ensure minimal insertion loss. Clean connector end-faces before mating using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to prevent contamination and signal degradation. Plug the SC connector into the SC adapter or port and the LC connector into the LC adapter or port, ensuring secure seating and correct orientation. Secure excess cable length in a patch panel or cable management system to prevent strain on the connections.

Recommendations

Use proper fibre handling practices: avoid pulling the cable by the connectors, use strain relief where necessary, and perform optical loss testing after installation to verify link performance.
