Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJAD0E LC I-V(ZN) H 40 m bianco

The METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJAD0E LC I-V(ZN) H 40 m White is a single-mode G.657.A2 fibre optic cable assembled with LC connectors on both ends and delivered in a 40-metre white jacket. Designed for indoor and building cabling where minimal bending loss and reliable single-mode transmission are required, this cable supports high-speed data links with low attenuation thanks to its 9 µm core diameter and bend-optimised fibre type.

Advantages

This LC–LC fibre cable combines a standardised I-V(ZN) H construction with G.657.A2 fibre properties to provide reduced sensitivity to tight bends, consistent insertion loss and repeatable connector performance. The 40 m length offers extended reach without intermediate splicing, while the white outer sheath provides a neutral appearance for visible installation areas. The use of LC connectors on both ends enables compact, high-density patching in network panels and optical transceivers.

Suitable for

• Indoor backbone and horizontal optical runs in offices and data rooms
• Patching between optical distribution frames, switches and transceivers
• Environments with limited bend radius or constrained routing paths
• High-density rack installations and telecom cabinets

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm (single-mode)
• Connectors: LC to LC
• Cable construction: I-V(ZN) H
• Length: 40 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Install the METZ CONNECT LC–LC cable by routing along existing cable trays or within conduits, maintaining recommended bend radii for G.657.A2 fibre where possible. Clean connector endfaces before mating to ensure low insertion loss and secure the cable at strain relief points to prevent movement. Plug LC connectors into appropriate adapters, transceivers or patch panel ports, verify link continuity and measure optical loss if required to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Avoid sharp bends, kinks and excessive tensile loading during routing; follow manufacturer bend radius guidelines for G.657.A2 fibre. Use proper cleaning tools for LC connector endfaces and perform optical loss testing after installation to validate link performance.
