Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151S1EOJO10E 2x SC 2x LC OM4 1 m rosa

The METZ CONNECT 151S1EOJO10E is a 1 m OM4 fibre optic cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and short-reach links. It combines two SC connectors and two LC connectors to provide flexible connectivity between network equipment, patch panels and active devices. The fibre core diameter and OM4 designation support enhanced modal bandwidth for modern Gigabit and 10 Gigabit applications. The cable is finished in pink for easy visual identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable offers multimode OM4 performance suitable for high-bandwidth applications and short-distance links. With two SC and two LC terminations, it enables connection to a variety of equipment without additional adapters. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in rack-mounted and patch-panel installations. A distinct pink jacket improves cable management by making the link easy to locate among other fibres.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres
• Interconnections in server rooms and telecommunications closets
• Short-reach multimode links for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Environments where colour-coded fibre identification is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: 2x SC, 2x LC
• Jacket colour: Pink

How to use

Route the METZ CONNECT OM4 cable between the required ports, ensuring connector orientation matches the equipment receptacles. Insert the SC and LC connectors into the corresponding adapters or device ports until they click into place. Avoid tight bends and maintain the cable's minimum bend radius during installation. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in dry, clean environments; avoid exposure to liquids and excessive mechanical stress. Use the pink jacket as part of a colour-coded cabling scheme to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. Verify link performance with appropriate optical test equipment after installation to confirm attenuation and connector cleanliness.
