Cavo in fibra ottica simplex InLine, FTTH, SC/APC8° a SC/APC8° 9/125µm OS2 40m

Telecommunications companies such as Vodafone, Deutsche Glasfaser and Telekom are increasingly enabling fibre connections for private households in Germany. Fibre to the home (FTTH) cables from InLine connect the house transfer point with the fibre optic modem and ensure a reliable fibre optic connection in your home.
Unfortunately, pre-installed cables from providers are often of poor quality and sometimes only 1.6mm thick. If the cable breaks, even the fastest fibre optic connection will not help. InLine FTTH cables are 3mm thick and have a particularly stable structure. Additional reinforcement in the form of a stainless steel spiral tube guarantees a long-term, reliable fibre optic connection in private homes. The neutral sheath colour white is suitable for inconspicuous installation in visible living areas. Different lengths up to 50m allow you to remain flexible, even if the position of the modem changes.

InLine Fiber Optical Simplex Cable, FTTH, SC/APC8° to SC/APC8° 9/125µm OS2 40m. Cable length: 40 m, Fibre optic type: OS2, Connector 1: SC, Connector 2: SC, Core diameter: 9 µm

How to use

Measure the required routing length and position the cable between the FTTH household outlet and the fibre modem or ONT. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate clips or conduits; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode armoured cable to preserve optical performance. Clean SC/APC connector endfaces with a fibre cleaning tool before insertion to prevent contamination-related losses and connect the SC/APC connectors into the corresponding SC/APC ports until they click into place. If needed, verify link performance using the supplied test report and, where possible, an optical power meter or light source to confirm insertion loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Use this InLine 40 m SC/APC to SC/APC single-mode cable when a durable, low-loss connection is required between the fibre entry point and modem. Do not exceed recommended bend radii, avoid sharp kinks, and keep connectors capped when not in use. For outdoor-exposed runs, protect the cable in appropriate conduits or ducts despite its armoured core, and follow local installation regulations and safety standards.
