Cavo in fibra ottica Tecline 799LL02 LC SMF 2 m giallo

The Tecline 799LL02 LC SMF 2 m Yellow is a single-mode fibre optic cable designed for high-speed, long-distance data transmission. This 2 m full duplex cable uses LC connectors on both ends and conforms to OS2 single-mode fibre standards with a 9 µm core diameter. It is intended for reliable optical links in structured cabling, server rooms and networking installations where low attenuation and stable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

The cable provides low-loss single-mode transmission suitable for long-reach links and minimal signal distortion. LC duplex connectors offer a compact footprint and secure connection in high-density patch panels. The 2 m length allows flexible routing between adjacent network devices while the yellow jacket makes cable identification straightforward. Conformance to OS2 ensures consistent performance for wavelength-specific applications and interoperability with industry-standard single-mode equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting optical transceivers in data centre patch panels
• Linking switches, routers and optical modules over short to medium single-mode distances
• Structured cabling backbones and telecom racks
• Laboratory and test setups requiring standard OS2 single-mode cables

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Fibre type: single-mode (SMF), OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Jacket colour: yellow

How to use

Ensure both network devices support LC single-mode interfaces and that transceiver wavelengths match the intended link. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode fibres. Insert the LC connectors into the device ports until they click and verify link status through device diagnostics or optical power measurement. For duplex operation, confirm correct polarity or use a crossover patch if necessary.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre ends with care; keep protective dust caps on connectors when not in use and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections to minimise insertion loss and reflection. Store and route the cable to prevent kinks and ensure long-term signal reliability.
