Cavo patch ACT CAT5E U/UTP trefolo grigio 305 m

ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable, grey, 305 m reel. This unshielded twisted-pair cable (U/UTP) with stranded conductors and PVC sheath is intended for horizontal and patching use in LAN environments, offering standard Cat5e performance for data and voice transmission over structured networks.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable Cat5e-level transmission with stranded conductors that improve flexibility for installation and patching. The U/UTP construction reduces cost and complexity while maintaining adequate performance for typical office and home networks. A PVC sheath ensures basic mechanical protection and ease of handling on a 305 m reel.

Suitable for

• Horizontal cabling and patch panels in office networks
• Device connections in home networks (routers, switches, modems)
• Temporary or permanent patching where flexibility is required

How to use

Cut required length from the 305 m reel and terminate with suitable RJ45 plugs or patch panel keystone jacks according to Cat5e wiring standards (TIA/EIA 568A or 568B). Maintain correct pair untwisting limits near terminations and avoid sharp bends. Route the cable through trays or conduits as needed and test each run with a network cable tester to verify continuity and pair integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, follow Cat5e installation practices: keep cable runs below recommended lengths for horizontal cabling, separate from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference, and use proper strain relief at terminations. Choose stranded cable for flexible patching; for permanent horizontal runs consider solid conductor alternatives.
