Cavo patch Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 giallo 20 m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in yellow, 20 m, is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for stable data transmission in structured networks. It uses F/UTP (FTP) shielding to protect twisted pairs from external electromagnetic interference, supporting reliable Gigabit connections and consistent signal quality over its 20-metre length. The bright yellow jacket allows quick visual identification among multiple cables and simplifies cable management in racks, patch panels and workstations.

Advantages

The cable’s F/UTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise, improving transmission integrity in environments with nearby power lines or electronic equipment. Cat6 performance ensures bandwidth suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and many modern networking applications. The 20 m length provides flexibility for device placement without additional couplers, and the yellow outer jacket increases visibility for maintenance and troubleshooting. Connectors are terminated to industry-standard RJ45 interfaces, ensuring compatibility with standard network hardware.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks requiring reliable Gigabit connections
• Office patching between switches, patch panels and end devices
• Server rooms and wiring closets where shielded cables are preferred
• Areas with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: F/UTP (FTP) — overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated
• Jacket color: Yellow
• Suitable for: up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds (depending on network equipment and installation)

How to use

Connect one RJ45-terminated end to the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to the network interface of a computer, printer or other device. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields; maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid pinching in cable management hardware. For best performance, use with compatible Cat6-capable network equipment and verified patch panels or outlets.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines. Use cable management solutions to prevent stress on connectors and to ease future maintenance. If installation requires permanent in-wall wiring or plenum spaces, consult local regulations and use cables rated for those environments.
