Cavo patch Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF 5 m bianco RJ-45

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF 5m White RJ-45 is a 5 m straight-through network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It combines foil and braided shielding (S/FTP) with paired-in-metal-foil (PiMF) construction and quality inner conductors to ensure stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with precision RJ-45 plugs and comes in white to blend into home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and PiMF pair construction minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable high-speed data transfer. Robust cable sheathing and accurately crimped RJ-45 connectors provide mechanical durability and consistent contact. The 5 m length offers flexible placement for typical workstation and network device connections while the straight-through wiring ensures compatibility with switches, routers and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Patch panel to network switch links in office racks
• Home network connections for streaming, gaming and internet access

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (PC, laptop, printer) and the other into a router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors click into place for secure contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks or heavy compressions that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. For rack installations, use suitable cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF patch cable for short- to medium-length runs up to 5 m where reduced interference and reliable gigabit connections are required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimise noise; replace the cable if connector damage or significant wear is visible.
