Cavo patch in fibra ottica CBO BlueOptics SFP3233EU1MK 1 m OM3 SC–ST verde

Single-mode fiber patch cable CBO BlueOptics SFP3233EU1MK 1 m OM3 SC–ST Green is a pre-terminated multimode OM3 optical patch cord with SC connector on one end and ST connector on the other. With a 1 metre green jacket and standardized OM3 performance, the cable is intended for short-range high-speed optical links in LANs, data centres and telecommunications racks. The cable provides low insertion loss and consistent multimode transmission characteristics suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other short-reach fibre applications, enabling straightforward plug-and-play installation and compact routing in patch panels and equipment.

Advantages

The Green OM3 jacket and precise factory-terminated SC and ST connectors ensure reliable mating and visual identification in dense cabling environments. OM3 multimode specification offers controlled modal bandwidth for short-reach high-bandwidth links, while the 1 m length reduces excess slack and simplifies cable management. High-quality connector polishing and protective ferrules provide stable optical performance and reduced back-reflection, supporting predictable link budgets in local networks and data centre interconnects.

How to use

Inspect both connectors for dust or debris and clean with suitable fibre cleaning tools before connecting. Insert the SC connector into the SC adapter or transceiver port using its push-pull mechanism, and insert the ST connector by aligning and twisting the bayonet coupling until it seats. Route the 1 m patch cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. Verify link status and optical power levels after installation to confirm acceptable signal levels.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and use protective caps when connectors are not mated. For optimal performance, clean connectors before each connection, avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius, and keep cable runs as short and direct as practical to minimise insertion loss.
