Cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex ShiverPeaks 77806 LC/LC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 15 m

ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Duplex Patch Cable model 77806 with LC to LC connectors is a 15 m single-mode cable designed for OS1/OS2 applications. The cable uses 9/125µm fiber and provides duplex transmission via two LC connectors on each end. Intended for high-speed single-mode links, this patch cable suits telecom lines, data centers and backbone network connections where low loss and reliable optical performance are required.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 77806 cable combines single-mode 9/125µm fiber with LC/LC duplex termination to deliver compact connector interfaces and consistent optical performance. Its OS1/OS2 rating supports long-distance single-mode links with low attenuation. The 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-panel connections while maintaining stable signal integrity. The cable's duplex configuration simplifies bi-directional communication over two fibers and is compatible with common LC-equipped patch panels and optical transceivers.

Suitable for

• Connecting patch panels to switches and optical distribution frames in data centers
• Telecommunication backhaul and long-distance single-mode links
• Linking LC-equipped optical transceivers, media converters and network equipment
• Structured cabling where duplex LC/LC connections are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode 9/125µm
• Standard: OS1/OS2 single-mode
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Configuration: duplex (two fibers, bidirectional)
• Length: 15 meters
• Jacket color: yellow (single-mode identification)

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks 77806 LC/LC duplex patch cable by inserting the LC connectors into matching LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or optical equipment. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid insertion loss; use appropriate fiber cleaning tools if needed. Route the cable with gentle bends and avoid sharp kinks; respect the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for 9/125µm single-mode fiber to maintain performance. Secure excess length with cable ties or management rings to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify connector cleanliness and inspect for end-face damage before installation. Use fiber cleaning kits designed for LC connectors and follow fiber-handling best practices. Avoid tension and tight bends; store spare cable coiled loosely. Match this OS1/OS2-rated cable with single-mode equipment and perform optical loss testing where required to confirm link performance.
