Cavo patch in fibra ottica Equip MTP/SC Trunk, OM4, 15 m

The equip MTP/SC Trunk Fiber Patch Cord OM4 (15 m) is a pre-terminated multimode fiber cable designed for high-density data center and enterprise network environments. It combines an MTP connector on one end with four SC connectors on the other, using OM4 fiber with a 50 µm core diameter to support high-bandwidth, short- to medium-distance links.

Advantages

This OM4 trunk patch cord offers simplified installation with pre-terminated connectors, consistent multimode performance and reduced insertion loss through a factory-assembled MTP to SC breakout, and a 15 m length that provides flexibility for routing in racks and cabinets. The cable is suitable for high-density deployments where multiple SC terminations are required from a single MTP connection.

Suitable for

• Data center backbone and inter-rack connections
• High-density fiber panels and patch cabinets
• Enterprise network aggregation and distribution links
• Short- to medium-distance multimode links (within building or campus)

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 25557707
• EAN: 4015867192726
• Type: Pre-terminated MTP to 4×SC trunk patch cord
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 15 m

How to use

Route the 15 m trunk cable through racks or raceways to reach the desired panels. Connect the MTP end to an MTP port on a cassette, patch panel, or transceiver housing, and terminate the individual SC connectors into corresponding SC ports on patch panels or equipment. Verify polarity and connector cleanliness before making live connections to ensure optimal signal performance.

Recommendations

Handle the OM4 fiber by its connectorized ends, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling, and use dust caps when connectors are not mated. Clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools and perform optical tests after installation to confirm insertion loss and continuity meet system requirements.
