Cavo patch in fibra ottica monomodale SC/SC Digitus DK-2922-05 5 m

Fiber optic patch cord SC to SC, singlemode OS2 (9/125 µm), 5 m long. The Digitus DK-2922-05 is a duplex cable designed for stable data transmission in network installations, delivering singlemode performance for full-duplex connections between SC-terminated ports.

Advantages

The SC/SC patch cord uses OS2 singlemode fiber with a 9/125 µm core/cladding specification, offering low attenuation and consistent signal quality over longer distances. Duplex SC termination ensures easy and reliable mating with standard SC ports. The 5 m length provides flexibility for rack, patch panel and cabinet connections while maintaining mechanical durability and stable optical performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices and patch panels with SC ports
• Singlemode fiber backbone and horizontal cabling segments
• Data centers, server rooms and telecommunication racks

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before insertion. Align the SC connectors with the corresponding SC ports and insert until the connector locks. For duplex operation, maintain correct polarity and ensure the two fibers match transmit/receive channels on both ends. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid bending the fiber.

Recommendations

Handle the singlemode fiber with care: avoid sharp bends, kinks and excessive pulling force. Use protective dust caps when connectors are not in use and follow site cabling guidelines to preserve optical performance and service life.
