Cavo patch in fibra ottica OM5 EXERTIS CONNECT SC duplex su SC duplex, 50/125 µm, UPC, verde lime, 1 m 392901

High-density data centers and enterprise networks demand fiber cabling that can handle escalating bandwidth without replacing the physical infrastructure. This 1-meter OM5 patch cable provides the broadband multimode performance needed for short-reach, high-speed links, supporting data rates from 10GbE up to 400GbE over duplex SC connectors.

Who is it for

Network engineers, data center technicians, and IT integrators who need a reliable, standards-compliant fiber jumper for patching between panels, switches, and transceivers. The lime green jacket follows the industry color code for OM5, making it easy to identify in dense cabling environments.

Main features

• OM5 wideband multimode fiber (WBMMF) with 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter
• SC duplex connectors on both ends with UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish
• Low insertion loss of ≤ 0.3 dB and return loss of ≥ 30 dB
• Effective modal bandwidth of 2800 MHz·km at 850 nm and 4700 MHz·km at 953 nm
• Supports 10GbE, 40GbE, 100GbE, and 400GbE short-reach applications
• Operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C
• Minimum bend radius of 30 mm during installation and 10 mm long-term

Tips

For best performance, avoid exceeding the bend radius and keep connectors capped when not in use to prevent contamination. OM5 is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 cabling, but the entire link should be OM5 to achieve the highest bandwidth at longer wavelengths.
