Cavo patch in fibra ottica ROLINE 50/125µm LC/ST OM3 turchese 2 m

ROLINE Fibre Optic Jumper Cable with OM3 multimode fibres and a 50/125 µm core/cladding design, delivered as a duplex jumper with LC and ST connectors. The 2 m turquoise cable is intended for high-performance wiring and full-duplex data transmission in network and telecom environments. Connector and fibre quality together with controlled assembly deliver low insertion loss and reduced reflections.

Advantages

OM3 multimode fibre provides increased bandwidth for short- to medium-range links; LC and ST connector types allow compatibility with common transceivers and patch panels; compact construction with a movable fibre in the secondary coating improves flexibility and handling; duplex format supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Telecom cabinets and network distribution panels
• Short- to medium-distance multimode links such as enterprise LAN backbones
• Interconnection of equipment with LC and ST ports

How to use

Connect one end of the duplex LC/ST jumper to the corresponding LC and ST ports on your transceiver or patch panel, ensuring correct orientation for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it within cable management to prevent strain. Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion to maintain low insertion loss.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM3 jumper in multimode links up to the recommended distances for OM3, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate cleaning tools, and avoid tight bends or mechanical stress that could affect insertion loss.
