Cavo patch ShiverPeaks 77822, fibra ottica duplex SC/SC, 9/125 µm OS1/OS2, 1,0 m

ShiverPeaks 77822 is a 1.0 m duplex patch cable for singlemode optical links, fitted with SC connectors on both ends and built on a 9/125 µm fiber rated for OS1/OS2. The cable is intended for reliable duplex transmission between SC-terminated ports in telecom hardware, network switches, patch panels and fiber optic equipment used in data centers and enterprise networks. Its singlemode construction ensures low attenuation and consistent signal performance over longer distances compared with multimode alternatives.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks duplex patch cable offers a standardized SC/SC connector interface for simple push-pull mating and secure mechanical retention. Its 9/125 µm singlemode fiber provides low insertion loss and is suitable for compliance with OS1/OS2 link requirements. The 1.0 m length provides a compact connection option ideal for short cross-connects and shelf-to-shelf links while preserving signal integrity for duplex transmission.

Suitable for

• Duplex singlemode fiber connections between SC ports in telecom and networking equipment
• Patch panel to transceiver or switch port links in data centers
• Short point-to-point fiber links and equipment interconnects where 1.0 m length is required
• Fiber optic installations requiring OS1/OS2 compliant singlemode cabling

Key specifications

• Fiber type: singlemode, core/cladding diameter 9/125 µm
• Standards: suitable for OS1/OS2 singlemode usage
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Length: 1.0 m
• Cable color: yellow (singlemode standard)
• Transmission: duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness and remove dust or contamination prior to installation using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Insert the SC connectors firmly into matching SC sockets until the push-pull latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for 9/125 µm singlemode fiber. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw from the port.

Recommendations

Use this 1.0 m SC/SC duplex patch cable for short interconnects within racks or between adjacent network devices. Maintain clean connectors and avoid excessive bending to ensure low insertion loss and stable singlemode performance compatible with OS1/OS2 link requirements.
