Cavo S/FTP PiMF Cat.7 ROLINE 300m

S/FTP PiMF Cable Cat.7 ROLINE 300m is a solid-conductor cable for structured building cabling, supplied on a 300 m wooden drum. Designed for high-speed networks, this grey cable features pairwise aluminium-foil shielding (PiMF) and an overall copper braid, providing S/FTP 100 Ω impedance and supporting bandwidths up to 600 MHz.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with pairs shielded by aluminium foil and complete shielding in a copper braid reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Solid AWG23 copper conductors ensure stable signal transmission over long runs. The 300 m wooden drum simplifies installation and handling for building cabling projects. The cable is 3P certified to meet applicable quality and performance standards.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks (Cat.7) in commercial or residential buildings
• Backbone and horizontal structured cabling installations
• Environments requiring strong protection against external interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP PiMF (pairs shielded with aluminium foil + overall copper braid)
• Category: Cat.7
• Conductor: Solid copper, AWG23
• Impedance: 100 Ohm
• Bandwidth: up to 600 MHz
• Length: 300 m on wooden drum
• Colour: Grey
• Certifications: 3P certified

How to use

Unwind the cable from the wooden drum and route it according to the building’s structured cabling plan. Terminate using appropriate Cat.7 keystone jacks or patch panels and compatible tools, ensuring correct pair handling and grounding of the overall shield. Follow cable-bending radii and separation from power lines to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within standard length limits for Ethernet, avoid sharp bends, and ensure proper grounding of the shield. Use the ROLINE S/FTP PiMF Cable Cat.7 for backbone and horizontal runs where high immunity to interference and high bandwidth are required.
