Cavo seriale 1:1 ACT 3 metri 9 poli D-Sub femmina – 9 poli D-Sub femmina

The ACT 3 metre Serial 1:1 connection cable features 9 pin D-sub female connectors on both ends and provides a straightforward serial link for devices that use standard RS-232 pinouts. At 3 metres length and finished in an ivory jacket, the cable is designed to reach devices across a room or between cabinets while maintaining a neutral appearance that fits office, laboratory, and industrial environments.

Advantages

This cable uses a 1:1 wiring scheme with 9 pin D-sub female-to-female connectors to deliver reliable point-to-point serial communication. The 3 metre length offers flexibility when positioning equipment without the need for adapters, and the molded connector housings help protect contacts from mechanical strain. The ivory outer jacket is durable and resists everyday wear while blending with common equipment colors.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy serial peripherals such as modems, printers and industrial controllers
• Linking serial ports between PCs, routers or switches with DB9 connectors
• Service and diagnostic connections in labs, workshops and server rooms
• Temporary setups where a mid-length cable is required to reach devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: 9 pin D-sub (female) to 9 pin D-sub (female)
• Wiring: 1:1 straight-through pinout
• Cable length: 3 metres
• Outer colour: ivory
• Typical application: RS-232 serial communication
• Connector housing: molded for strain relief

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting the cable. Align the 9 pin D-sub female connectors with the male DB9 ports on each device and gently push until the connectors seat. Secure any fastening screws if present to prevent accidental disconnection. Power on the connected devices and configure serial port settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits, flow control) in the device software or operating system as required for proper communication.

Recommendations

For stable data transfer, keep the cable routed away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. Avoid sharp bends at the connector ends and do not apply excessive pull force on the cable. For long-term installations in harsh environments, consider additional cable management or protective conduit.
