Connettore coassiale IEC ShiverPeaks BS82021

The ShiverPeaks BS82021 is a high-quality IEC coaxial connector designed to provide reliable signal connections for audio and video equipment. This single-piece male IEC connector is intended for standard coaxial cables and offers a compact, durable construction suitable for both professional installations and home AV setups. The design focuses on consistent contact, low signal loss, and straightforward integration with compatible IEC female ports.

Advantages

The connector offers mechanical robustness and corrosion-resistant contact surfaces to maintain long-term connectivity. Its precision-fit male plug reduces wobble and ensures a stable connection under typical handling and cable movement. The simple one-piece configuration facilitates quick replacement or installation without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, set-top boxes and tuners to antenna or cable distribution systems
• Audio/video rack installations and consumer AV equipment
• Replacing worn or damaged male IEC coaxial connectors on existing cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: male IEC coaxial
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Compatibility: standard IEC female coaxial ports on AV equipment
• Build: single-piece design for direct cable termination or replacement
• Use environment: indoor AV and signal distribution systems

How to use

Ensure the cable and equipment power are turned off before installation. Strip the coaxial cable to the appropriate lengths for inner conductor and shielding, following the connector manufacturer's recommended stripping dimensions. Insert the prepared cable into the connector and secure according to the connector type (push-fit, crimp or screw termination as applicable). After termination, connect the male IEC plug to the device's female IEC port, ensuring a firm seating to achieve optimal signal transmission.

Recommendations

Use the connector in dry, indoor environments and avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable near the connector. Periodically inspect contacts for corrosion or looseness and replace the connector if signal quality degrades.
