Connettore F ShiverPeaks FAS-G 7.5 dorato per cavo coassiale da 7,5 mm

ShiverPeaks F-Connector FAS-G 7.5 is a gold-plated F-type connector engineered for 7.5 mm coaxial cable. It provides a standard threaded F interface for RF signal transmission in TV, satellite and antenna systems. The gold plating improves corrosion resistance and ensures consistent contact quality in indoor and protected outdoor installations where a 7.5 mm cable diameter is specified.

Advantages

The connector features a precision-machined body and a large screw nut for stable mechanical connection and easy hand-tightening. Gold plating on contact surfaces reduces oxidation and maintains low contact resistance over time. Designed for compatibility with 7.5 mm diameter coaxial cables, the connector supports reliable signal transfer with minimal insertion loss when fitted correctly.

Suitable for

• TV antenna installations requiring 7.5 mm coaxial cable
• Satellite LNB and receiver connections compatible with threaded F interfaces
• Indoor cabling runs and patching where corrosion-resistant contacts are preferred
• Replacement or repair of existing F-type terminations on 7.5 mm cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: threaded F-type
• Cable diameter compatibility: 7.5 mm coaxial cable
• Finish: gold-plated contact surfaces for improved corrosion resistance
• Mechanical interface: large nut for secure tightening
• Signal type: RF (television, satellite, antenna)

How to use

Prepare the 7.5 mm coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions appropriate for F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the cable until the centre conductor extends through the threaded pin area and the dielectric seats fully inside the connector. Tighten the large nut by hand and finish with a torque-controlled tool if required by the installation to ensure a firm, stable mechanical and electrical connection. Verify continuity and signal quality after installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector in dry or sheltered environments or apply appropriate sealing for exposed outdoor connections. Avoid over-tightening to prevent deformation of the cable conductor or connector body; follow installer torque guidelines when available. For long runs and critical RF applications, check connectors periodically for corrosion or looseness and replace as needed to maintain signal integrity.
