Custodia elettrica Rittal AX 1006.000, acciaio inox, IP66, 380×380×210 mm

Rittal AX 1006.000 is a stainless steel electrical enclosure engineered for reliable protection of control components in indoor and outdoor environments. With an IP66 rating, it shields equipment from dust ingress and powerful water jets. The compact housing measures 380×380×210 mm (W×H×D) externally and is suitable for mounting terminal blocks, small switchgear and control devices while providing a corrosion-resistant stainless steel surface for industrial and commercial applications.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness while maintaining a compact footprint for space-constrained installations. IP66 protection ensures reliable sealing against dust and strong water jets, enabling safe use in wash-down or exposed environments. The enclosure’s design supports consistent engineering workflows and flexible interior installation of mounting plates and components.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable flat surface or frame using the designated mounting points. Install a compatible internal mounting plate or rail system to secure terminal blocks, relays or small controllers. Route cables through appropriate cable entries or glands and ensure all seals and fasteners are tightened to retain the IP66 rating. Follow local electrical codes and Rittal installation guidelines when connecting internal equipment.

Recommendations

For long-term performance, select cable glands and seals rated for IP66 and compatible with stainless steel; periodically inspect seals and fastenings for corrosion or wear, and perform routine checks after heavy wash-downs or exposure to aggressive environments.
