Custodia elettrica Rittal AX 1055.000, acciaio, 800×300×600 mm, IP66

Rittal AX 1055.000 is a steel electrical enclosure designed to protect electrical components, controls and wiring in industrial and field environments. With external dimensions of 800×300×600 mm and an IP66 rating, this single-piece cabinet provides dust-tight sealing and strong protection against heavy jets of water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations where robust environmental protection is required.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures mechanical strength and longevity while the IP66 protection class prevents ingress of dust and powerful water jets. The enclosure’s single-piece design simplifies installation and reduces potential leak points. Its standard dimensions allow integration with common mounting plates, DIN rails and internal accessories used in control cabinets and machinery. How to use

Install the enclosure on a suitably prepared flat surface or mounting structure using appropriate fixings for the enclosure weight and wall substrate. Fit internal mounting plate, DIN rails and cable entry grommets or gland plates as required for your application. Route and secure cables to avoid strain on terminations and maintain the integrity of the IP66 seal by using compatible cable glands and correctly closing the door with its sealing gasket after wiring. Ensure grounding/earthing is completed according to applicable electrical standards before energizing internal equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable IP66 performance, verify that all cutouts are fitted with appropriate glands or blanking plates, and inspect door gaskets periodically for damage. When used outdoors, choose corrosion-resistant mounting hardware and consider additional environmental coatings if exposure to aggressive chemicals or salt spray is expected.
