DeLOCK cavo in fibra ottica LC duplex su LC duplex OS2 1 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OS2 1m is a 1-metre single-mode patch cable with LC duplex connectors on both ends. It supports full duplex transmission for high-speed data links and is suitable for connecting networking devices such as switches, media converters and patch panels. The OS2 fiber type ensures low attenuation for long-distance single-mode applications.

Advantages

The cable features a metal armouring that provides enhanced protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodents while maintaining flexibility and bendability. It offers high tensile strength for reliable installation and long-term use, and the LC duplex connectors provide stable, low-loss connections for single-mode networks.

How to use

Ensure both networking devices are powered off or follow hot-plugging procedures for your equipment. Align the LC duplex connectors with the LC ports on each device and insert until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding tight bends beyond the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain. Verify link status on the connected devices and test signal quality if required.

Recommendations

Use the metal-armoured fiber cable in environments where additional mechanical protection is needed, such as exposed cable runs or areas with potential rodent activity. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile loads; follow standard single-mode handling practices to maintain low attenuation and connector integrity.
