Digitus cavo breakout universale in fibra ottica preassemblato Singlemode OS2 12 fibre LC/UPC - LC/UPC 150m

The Digitus Pre-assembled Fiberglass Universal Breakout Cable Single Mode OS2 12 Fibers LC/UPC - LC/UPC 150m is a factory-terminated fiber optic cable designed for backbone links and cabinet-to-cabinet connections. It provides 12 individually protected single-mode OS2 fibers with LC/UPC connectors on both ends and a total length of 150 meters. The cable arrives ready for immediate use without on-site splicing, and its robust construction supports indoor and limited outdoor routing where high mechanical protection and reliable data transmission are required.

Advantages

This pre-assembled breakout cable offers time savings during installation because high-quality LC/UPC connectors are factory-mounted and tested. Individual fibers are mechanically protected within the breakout design, reducing the risk of damage during pulling and routing. The cable’s robust construction and included measurement report support predictable performance and simplify commissioning. Standard length and plug-and-play readiness minimize on-site labor and splicing work.

Suitable for

• Backbone fiber runs between network cabinets
• Patch panel connections and partial patching installations
• Data center interconnects requiring single-mode OS2 fibers
• Professional telecommunication and network infrastructure projects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Single-mode OS2
• Number of fibers: 12
• Connector type (both ends): LC/UPC to LC/UPC
• Cable length: 150 meters
• Cable design: Pre-assembled breakout construction with individually protected fibers
• Installation: Suitable for indoor routing and limited outdoor use where applicable
• Mechanical protection: Robust outer construction and reinforced breakout elements

How to use

Install the cable by routing it through cable trays or conduits to the target cabinets or panels, taking care to observe the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Terminate or plug the LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding ports on patch panels, transceivers, or fiber distribution frames. Because connectors are factory-mounted and the product includes a measurement report, the cable can be used immediately after visual inspection and cleaning of connector end-faces. Avoid excessive tension during pulling and secure the cable at appropriate anchor points.

Recommendations

Before final commissioning, clean LC/UPC end faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools and verify link performance using the supplied measurement report or a short validation test. Maintain the specified bend radius during installation and avoid exposing the cable to sharp edges or prolonged direct sunlight in outdoor runs.
