Why choose it

Unlike cheaper copper-clad aluminium cables, this DSIT patch cable uses solid 100% copper conductors for superior signal integrity and lower resistance over longer distances. The CAT5e rating guarantees full Gigabit Ethernet support, making it ideal for high-bandwidth tasks like video streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers. The flexible PVC jacket resists everyday wear, and the snagless RJ45 connectors protect the locking tabs during installation.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a desktop PC to a router or switch in a home office
• Wiring a smart TV or game console for lag-free streaming
• Extending a network to a printer or NAS device
• Colour-coded cabling for easier network management

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with older Ethernet standards (10/100 Mbps) and works with any device featuring an RJ45 port. Its unshielded design is suitable for most indoor environments without heavy electromagnetic interference. For best performance, avoid running parallel to power lines over long distances.
