Cavo in fibra ottica Sacon LSD31100020 2 m SC turchese

The Sacon LSD31100020 2 m SC Turquoise fibre optic cable is an OM3 multimode patch cord designed for high-speed duplex connections. With SC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter, the cable supports reliable data transmission in short- to medium-range network links. Its turquoise jacket indicates OM3 classification, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and InfiniBand environments where consistent optical performance and low insertion loss are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers stable duplex communication and reduced signal attenuation thanks to its OM3 multimode core. The SC connectors provide secure, push-pull coupling and consistent mating performance. The 2 m length balances flexibility and minimal excess cable in rack or patch-panel deployments. The turquoise sheath simplifies identification in structured cabling systems and helps maintain orderly cable management.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• InfiniBand connections for high-performance computing
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver connections
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre runs

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: SC to SC (duplex)
• Jacket color: turquoise (OM3 identification)
• Polish/connector finish: factory-terminated, ceramic ferrules

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC port on network devices or patch panels, ensuring correct alignment and firm seating until the push-pull latch clicks. For duplex operation, maintain correct orientation of transmit and receive channels as required by your equipment. Avoid tight bends and kinks; route the cable along cable-management paths and secure it with appropriate ties or clips, leaving a gentle bend radius to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Inspect connector end faces before insertion and clean with suitable fibre cleaning tools if contamination is present. Store and handle the cable without excessive twisting or bending, respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and avoid exposing the cable to mechanical strain or harsh chemicals to ensure long-term reliability and consistent signal quality.
