Why choose it

This cable provides a reliable connection for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over short distances. The duplex configuration supports bidirectional communication with a single cable, and the orange jacket conforms to the standard colour code for OM2 multimode fibre.

Ideal use cases

• Patching legacy ST-based fibre optic equipment
• Connecting servers and switches in data centres
• Extending fibre links in campus networks
• Test and measurement setups requiring ST interfaces

Good to know

OM2 fibre supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 82 metres and 1 Gigabit Ethernet up to 550 metres at 850 nm. The ST connector uses a bayonet-style coupling for secure connections.
