Ekivalan Cavo patch in fibra ottica OM4 duplex ST/ST, viola erica, 5 m COZOM4STST2SE0050A

Connect high-speed network equipment in data centres and enterprise backbones with this Ekivalan OM4 duplex fibre patch cable. The 5-metre length links ST-terminated ports on switches, patch panels, and media converters, supporting 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fibre. The Erika Violet jacket (RAL 4003) provides instant identification of OM4 performance, while LSZH material ensures low smoke and zero halogen emission for indoor safety.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM4, 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter
• Connectors: ST to ST, duplex (2 fibres), PC/UPC polish
• Length: 5.0 m
• Jacket: LSZH, Erika Violet (RAL 4003)
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB
• Return loss: > 30 dB
• Attenuation: 3.0 dB/km @ 850 nm, 1.0 dB/km @ 1300 nm
• Modal bandwidth: 4700 MHz*km (OFL) / 3500 MHz*km (EMB) @ 850 nm
• Standards: TIA/EIA-568-C.3, ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173-1

Why choose it

OM4 fibre delivers higher modal bandwidth than OM3, enabling longer reach for 40G and 100G Ethernet. The duplex ST connectors provide a secure bayonet-style coupling, and the violet jacket clearly distinguishes OM4 from other grades, reducing installation errors.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre backbone links between switches and patch panels
• High-speed server connections requiring 10G/40G/100G
• Enterprise network upgrades to OM4 infrastructure

Good to know

The LSZH jacket meets fire safety requirements for enclosed spaces. ST connectors are commonly found in legacy installations; this cable bridges older equipment to modern OM4 performance.
