Ekivalan OM3 cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex LC/ST 50/125 µm aqua 0,5 m COZOM3LCST2SA0005A

Data center technicians and network installers often need a short, reliable multimode fiber link between LC and ST equipment. The Ekivalan OM3 Duplex Patch Cable delivers that connection in a compact 0.5 m length, with an aqua LSZH jacket for easy identification and safety in dense racks.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: LC duplex to ST duplex
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Jacket colour: Aqua
• Insertion loss: ≤ 0.3 dB
• Return loss: ≥ 30 dB
• Attenuation at 850 nm: ≤ 3.0 dB/km
• Attenuation at 1300 nm: ≤ 1.0 dB/km
• Bandwidth (OFL) at 850 nm: 1500 MHz·km
• Bandwidth (OFL) at 1300 nm: 500 MHz·km
• Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C
• Supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 m

Why choose it

OM3 fiber is optimized for 10 GbE short-reach applications, and the LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire. The aqua colour follows TIA-598-C coding for OM3/OM4, making it easy to distinguish from single-mode or lower-grade multimode cables.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting switches with LC ports to patch panels with ST ports
• Short interconnects in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed backbone links up to 300 m at 10 Gbps

Good to know

The duplex configuration carries two fibers in a single cable, providing simultaneous transmit and receive channels. The LC connector's small form factor saves space on high-density equipment, while the ST connector's bayonet lock ensures a secure connection.
