Equip Prolunga VGA HD15, 1,0 m

The equip® VGA Extension Cable (HD15) is a 1.0 m black VGA (D-Sub) cable designed to extend the reach between a computer, monitor or projector and VGA‑equipped devices. Constructed with knurled metal screws and ferrite beads, the cable provides a secure mechanical connection and basic suppression of electromagnetic interference while remaining lightweight and RoHS‑compliant.

Advantages

The cable features sturdy knurled screws for a reliable physical connection and ferrite beads to reduce high‑frequency interference. Its 1.0 m length and lightweight 103 g construction make it easy to route and transport. Both ends use standard VGA (D‑Sub) connectors for broad compatibility with monitors, projectors and graphics cards.

Suitable for

• Extending the distance between a PC and a VGA monitor
• Connecting a laptop or desktop to a VGA projector
• Temporary setups in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Replacing or extending an existing short VGA lead

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: VGA (D‑Sub) to VGA (D‑Sub)
• Weight: 0.103 kg
• Colour: Black
• Compliance: RoHS

How to use

Connect one VGA (D‑Sub) end to the VGA output of your computer or laptop and the other end to the VGA input of your monitor or projector. Tighten the knurled screws by hand until secure to ensure a stable connection. Position the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep ferrite beads clear of metal clamps or tight ties for optimal interference suppression.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, keep the cable length as short as practical, avoid sharp bends near connectors, and ensure screws are tightened gently but firmly. If you require digital video or higher resolutions, consider using a digital interface instead of VGA.
