Equip Prolunga VGA HD15, 3,0 m

The Equip HD15 VGA Extension Cable (3.0 m) provides a straightforward solution to extend VGA connections between computers, monitors and projectors. Built with two VGA (D-Sub) connectors and a black jacket, the cable complies with RoHS standards and is designed to maintain video transmission quality over its 3.0 metre length.

Advantages

The cable features knurled screws for a secure mechanical connection and integrated ferrite beads to reduce electromagnetic interference, helping to preserve signal integrity. Its 215 g weight and standard HD15 connectors make it compatible with a wide range of VGA-equipped devices.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach between a PC and an external monitor
• Connecting a laptop to a VGA projector for presentations
• Linking legacy VGA displays to modern desktop computers

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connectors: VGA (D-Sub) HD15 to VGA (D-Sub) HD15
• Weight: 0.215 kg
• Colour: Black
• Standards: RoHS compliant

How to use

Align the HD15 connectors with the VGA ports on your devices, slide the connector into the port, and tighten the knurled screws by hand until secure. If using a projector, connect the cable to the laptop or PC first, then to the projector; power on devices and select the appropriate input source on the display.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the VGA cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances and keep connector screws tightened during use. If you experience display noise, ensure ferrite beads are intact and check connector seating on both devices.
