Equip Prolunga VGA HD15, 5,0 m

The Equip HD15 VGA Extension Cable (5.0 m) provides a durable extension for VGA (D-Sub) connections between computers, monitors and projectors. Constructed with knurled screws and ferrite beads, the black cable complies with RoHS standards and is designed to maintain a stable analogue video signal over a 5-metre distance.

Advantages

This VGA extension cable features sturdy knurled screws for secure connector fastening and integrated ferrite beads to reduce electromagnetic interference. With standard HD15 VGA connectors on both ends and a 5.0 m length, it offers a straightforward solution for extending existing VGA connections while meeting RoHS requirements.

Suitable for

• Extending VGA connections between desktop PCs and monitors
• Connecting laptops to projectors for presentations
• Replacing or extending existing VGA leads in classrooms or meeting rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Connectors: VGA (D-Sub) HD15 — both ends
• Weight: 0.282 kg
• Colour: Black
• RoHS compliant

How to use

Connect one HD15 VGA connector to the VGA output of your source device (PC or laptop) and the other connector to the VGA input of the display device (monitor or projector). Tighten the knurled screws by hand to secure the connection. If image quality issues occur, ensure connectors are fully seated and consider repositioning ferrite beads away from tightly coiled cable bundles.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the VGA cable alongside power cables or high-frequency data cables for long distances. Use within its 5.0 m length for reliable analogue video transmission; longer runs may require signal boosters or digital alternatives.
